Payment & refund policy

This page sets out the full cancellation and refund policy for advertising placements booked with Tamarack Relay. It works alongside the shorter Payment & Refund Policy and Returns Policy sections of our terms of use.

1. Scope

This policy applies to payments made for the Weekly Site Banner, the Morning Briefing Podcast Package and the Full Console Campaign.

2. Cancelling before production starts

If you cancel before we have begun adapting artwork, writing scripts or recording, you are entitled to a full refund of any amount paid.

3. Cancelling after production starts

Once production is underway — artwork has been adapted, a script drafted, or a podcast spot recorded — a partial refund applies, reflecting the portion of work already completed. For the Full Console Campaign, this is calculated against the weeks of the five-week schedule that have not yet started.

4. Returns windows

Cancelling at least five business days before the confirmed start date qualifies for a full refund. Cancelling with less notice than that may only receive a partial refund under section 3 above.

5. How to request a cancellation or refund

Email [email protected] or call +1 514-973-0602 during our working hours, Monday – Friday, 09:00–17:30, Eastern Time (ET) — Montréal, and include your booking reference and the placement you booked.

6. Processing a refund

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval.

7. Rescheduling instead of cancelling

Where our production schedule allows, we will usually offer to move your placement to a new date rather than cancel it, at no additional cost.

8. Non-refundable cases

A placement that has already run in full — the seven days of a banner, the two weeks of a podcast package, or the five weeks of a campaign — is not eligible for a refund.

9. Returnss by us

If we need to cancel a confirmed placement for reasons on our side, we will offer a full refund or a rebooking at no extra cost, whichever you prefer.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
