Advertising that runs where Saint-Laurent actually reads and listens.
Tamarack Relay is a local news site and weekly podcast covering Ville Saint-Laurent, Bois-Franc, Cartierville, Ahuntsic and the Marcel-Laurin corridor. We report on the borough and sell our own advertising directly to the businesses that operate in it, in three fixed formats with no negotiated add-ons.

How a placement stays consistent
A banner, a newsletter feature and a host read are each built the same way every time they run, so the ad you approve in the brief is the ad that publishes. We use one layout template for the site banner, one script structure for the podcast reads, and one editorial slot in the newsletter for sponsor features — nothing is reformatted mid-run without telling you first.
Editorial coverage and advertising are kept separate: the newsroom decides what to report on in Saint-Laurent and the north island independently of who is advertising that week, and a sponsor placement is always labelled as such.
What to have ready
Artwork
A static image or logo file for the banner and newsletter placements.
Copy
A short message or offer line for the host to read on air.
Contact
A phone number, address or link for readers who respond.
Most advertisers arrive with a logo, a phone number and a short offer line, and that is enough for us to build a first draft. Our production side handles the rest: resizing artwork for desktop and mobile banners, laying out the newsletter sponsor block in the house style, and recording podcast reads on our own equipment so the tone matches the rest of the episode. You approve a script or proof before anything publishes.
What every booking includes
- A single point of contact for the length of the booking.
- A written confirmation of dates, format and price before the run starts.
- An impression, click or listen summary appropriate to the format you booked.
- One round of revisions on artwork or script before the placement goes live.
Not included
Design work beyond basic resizing, on-air interviews, and editorial coverage of your business — advertising and reporting stay separate here.
Before you start
Bring a short description of your business and the neighbourhood you serve, any artwork or logo files you already have, and the dates you would like the placement to run. If you are booking a podcast read, a rough idea of what you want said is enough — we help turn it into a script that fits the show.
A few common questions
Do prices include design work?
Basic resizing of artwork you supply is included. Larger design work is not, and we will tell you upfront if a request falls outside that.
Can I book more than one placement at a time?
Yes. The Full Console Campaign combines all three formats over five weeks, or you can book the banner and podcast package separately.
Which neighbourhoods do you cover?
Ville Saint-Laurent, Bois-Franc, Cartierville, Ahuntsic and the Marcel-Laurin corridor make up our coverage area.
What if I need to cancel a booking?
Our cancellation terms are set out in full on the terms page, including how far ahead you need to notify us.
